Fulfilling your dreams
We are always encouraged by people who have achieved a great deal in life to follow our dreams. This is a great form of encouragement, because it helps others to realize what they can actually do or achieve. That is why it is always advisable to take good advice, because you never know when you will hit the big time and fulfil your goals.
The more you learn, the better equipped you will be to face life’s challenges and fulfil your
dreams. Whatever profession you feel passionate about, then go for it. That would be the
advice of many coaches, professionals, and advisers many of whom have been influenced
by taking advice or by personal experience. An article in the Voicenewspaper 20.10.2016,
written by Dionne Grant, stated that Teacher and Playwright Joy Mbakwe juggled her two
passions and brought untold stories about the black community to the stage.
By profession, she is an English and Drama teacher, but spends the rest of her time managing a community theatre company, writes plays, and has recently taken up photography. What made her decide to embark on so many different interesting topics? She told the reporter that she always had a passion for the arts and story writing or else those stories would remain untold, while according
to her father, her stable vocation puts bread on the table. So one’s passion can be driven by self
interest, or simply by external or parental advice.
Olivia Hinds is another professional who decided to follow her dreams to become an inspira-
tional adviser and business woman. She told a news reporter that school she attended
provided her with the help and inspiration which prepared her to pursue her dreams. People
have always been driven to follow their dreams of which some do and others falter due to
not having the right advice nor sufficient courage to do so by themselves.
The author passionately believes that you should follow your dreams, because if you don’t, you will never know what you could have achieved.
